Welcome to my blog!

My name is Jarno Otto, and I'm happy to welcome you to my personal platform. In this blog, I want to share my experiences, thoughts, and insights with you – whether they're from my educational journey, my personal adventures, or my passions, as well as my faith life, which is very important to me.

My journey so far has been characterized by curiosity, challenges, and continuous learning. My path has already had its ups and downs. I would like to give a brief overview of them here at the beginning.

In short, the low points included not passing my Abitur exam the first time, and sadly for me, failing the assessment center for air traffic controller at the German Air Traffic Control, as well as a prolonged injury. So I then sought other paths for myself, which were marked by highlights.

My highlights were primarily passing my secondary school leaving certificate, as well as my Abitur via distance learning. But I also had a highlight with my completed apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician. However, my greatest highlight so far is having met my girlfriend, in a way that only God could orchestrate. You can find more about this in one of my blog posts.

After graduating as a mechatronics technician, I began my career as a service technician, where I gained valuable insights and practical experience. Not only did I acquire technical expertise, but I also learned the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and creativity.

Now, as a student, I've been in Innsbruck since October 2025, studying Geography as a Bachelor of Science. In doing so, I'm realizing how cool it is to have gone through the ups and downs, as these were valuable experiences and are now helping me solve problems.

In addition to the professional aspect, personal projects and hobbies have always inspired and motivated me. Whether it was traveling or trying out new ideas, all of this has broadened my view of the world and made me the person I am today.

With this blog, I want to create a platform where I can not only tell my story but also provide inspiration and encourage exchange. I cordially invite you to join me on this journey and look forward to exciting conversations and shared exchange.
